Open Eisenfeld
Knowledge should be accessible. With Open Eisenfeld, the university publishes selected course modules openly — complete lecture series, problem sheets and self-tests, free of charge and without any admission procedure. Whoever wants to go deeper will find the path from every open module into the matching degree programme.
Open modules
The open modules correspond to real first-year courses and are maintained by the same teaching staff as in the regular programmes. New modules appear at the start of each semester; existing ones are updated together with the study regulations.

How access works
All materials can be viewed without registration. To save progress and self-tests, learners create a free Open account — independent of the student portal. Open modules do not award ECTS credits; the content, however, matches the regular courses, so the transition into a degree programme is seamless.
From open module to degree programme
Anyone who has completed an open module knows TU Eisenfeld's teaching style, platform and standards first-hand. In a later application, participation can be cited as evidence of motivation; the advisory service recommends the matching programme based on the modules completed. The mathematics bridging course is expressly recommended to admitted first-year students.
Licence and reuse
Unless marked otherwise, Open Eisenfeld materials are licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0: they may be shared and adapted, non-commercially, with attribution and share-alike. Teaching staff at other institutions are expressly invited to use the materials; a short note to [email protected] is appreciated.
